The aircraft, which Bombardier originally developed as the Bombardier CSeries, was later acquired in July 2018 after Airbus acquired a majority stake in the program. It was later renamed as the A220, becoming a prominent narrowbody aircraft across the world. Currently, over 400 A220s are flying with commercial operators, including Delta Air Lines, JetBlue Airways, airBaltic, Air France, and Breeze Airways.
