Just over ten years ago, a LAM Mozambique Embraer 190 aircraft crashed into Namibia's Bwabwata National Park halfway into its flight, killing all 33 passengers and crew onboard. The debris field left investigators with lots of questions, but after analyzing data from the aircraft's flight recorders, investigators found that the captain had deliberately forced the aircraft into the ground.
