What do Charles Dellschau (1830–1923) and Ingersoll Lockwood (1841–1918) have in common?
Both men used the names “Trump” and “Baron Trump” in their artwork and writings decades before Donald Trump and his son, Barron Trump, were born.
Charles Dellschau and the “Trump” paintings
Charles Dellschau was born in Germany and later emigrated to the United States. He is best known for his intricate, visionary artworks depicting fantastical flying machines and mysterious airships.
Some of Dellschau’s paintings appear to contain the word “TRUMP” and even the number “45.” In modern times, some observers have interpreted these elements as references to Donald Trump, who became the 45th President of the United States. However, there is no evidence that Dellschau intended any such meaning.
One painting also includes a banner bearing the phrase “AEROUP TRUMP.” Hypothetically, this could be interpreted as referring to aerial superiority or an ultimate airship, using the word “trump” in its traditional sense of superiority, excellence, or triumph.
Ingersoll Lockwood and Baron Trump
Ingersoll Lockwood was an American lawyer, diplomat, and author who wrote a series of fantasy children’s books in the late nineteenth century. Today, he is best known for creating the fictional character Baron Trump.
His books, Travels and Adventures of Little Baron Trump and His Wonderful Dog Bulger and its sequel, Baron Trump’s Marvellous Underground Journey, follow a young aristocratic boy named Wilhelm Heinrich Sebastian Von Troomp, commonly known as Baron Trump.
The character’s name bears a striking resemblance to that of Donald Trump’s son, Barron Trump. In the stories, Baron Trump lives in Castle Trump and embarks on extraordinary adventures involving hidden realms and mysterious civilizations.
The appearance of the names “Trump” and “Baron Trump” long before the birth of Donald Trump and his son has inspired numerous theories. Some regard these similarities as remarkable historical coincidences, while others speculate about hidden connections, secret societies, or prophetic symbolism.
The Last President and Modern Interpretations
Another of Lockwood’s novels, The Last President, portrays political unrest following an unexpected presidential election victory. Because of certain perceived parallels, (Donadl Trump became the 47th president) some readers have retrospectively linked the story to Donald Trump’s political rise. However, the novel does not mention Donald Trump, and any connection is entirely speculative.
Some theorists have also associated the story with the “Enough Is Enough” card from the Illuminati: New World Order card game, suggesting that it symbolically foreshadows Trump’s rise to power and an eventual disclosure of hidden truths similar to themes explored by both Dellschau and Lockwood, including:
Mysterious airships and advanced technologies
Hidden worlds and underground civilizations
Cryptic symbols and coded messages
Alleged secret societies and concealed knowledge
Adding another layer to the mystery is Donald Trump’s uncle, John G. Trump (1907–1985). A respected electrical engineer and professor at MIT, he was a pioneer in the scientific, engineering, and medical applications of high-voltage machinery.
Following the death of inventor Nikola Tesla in 1943, the U.S. government asked John G. Trump to examine Tesla’s papers to determine whether they contained inventions of military significance. This historical fact has led some researchers to speculate about possible links between Tesla’s ideas and later narratives surrounding advanced technology and government secrecy.
Coincidence or Something More?
Perhaps these similarities are nothing more than extraordinary coincidences. Yet, with Donald Trump increasingly associated with UFO related discussions, proposed disclosures, and congressional hearings, and with ongoing stories about advanced technologies allegedly recovered from crashed UFOs, as well as the possible existence of secret underground or underwater civilizations, it is perhaps unsurprising that some researchers continue to speculate about hidden connections and acknowledge among Charles Dellschau, Ingersoll Lockwood, Nikola Tesla, and the Trump family.
To date, however, no credible evidence has been found to substantiate these theories, and they remain firmly within the realm of speculation.
