While China has agreed to purchase 200 jets from the US manufacturer, Boeing, the latest news from the OEM is that this is just an initial order, and it is expecting further aircraft orders/commitments. The commitment for this large purchase comes during the time of the US Presidential visit to China, thus marking the first large-scale commitment from the nation that Boeing has received in recent years.
