Lighting expert Zweibrüder is making a fresh start under new leadership, with Managing Director Tobias Schleder, and Advisor Rainer Opolka, opening a new chapter.
“With our restart comes the ambition to reinvent the world of portable lighting once again,” explains Tobias.
Zweibrüder’s range focuses on high-quality torches and headlamps. All products feature modern,
high-performance rechargeable batteries and LEDs, as well as newly developed optics that enable maximum efficiency and broad functionality.
A particular highlight is the newly developed AutoFocus technology, which is currently patent
pending and used for the first time worldwide in a Zweibrüder torch. It enables automatic dimming and focusing of the light beam. The light intelligently adapts to the application – making manual adjustment of focus or brightness unnecessary.
“What once seemed impossible is now a reality for every user,” says Tobias Schleder. Durability is also a top priority at Zweibrüder. An extended warranty will therefore be offered. For Schleder,
“sustainability begins with quality.”
In addition, Zweibrüder will distribute exclusive portable lighting products under the Duracell brand in Europe. This partnership underlines the company’s high ambitions and passion for portable lighting solutions.
With Zweibrüder and Duracell, the company offers a clearly segmented range: Zweibrüder covers the premium segment, while Duracell provides an entry point into rechargeable torches and headlamps.
Zweibrüder consistently focuses on specialist retail, both offline and online. Direct sales via its own website will be developed, but without discounting.
“We are building our direct business, but consciously avoiding discounts. Quality should convince – not price reductions,” says Thomas.
Zweibrüder is an exclusive manufacturer of portable lighting products based in Solingen. Together with partners, the company develops products that combine the highest quality with outstanding performance and user-friendliness.
The range spans the premium segment under Zweibrüder and the mass-premium segment under Duracell.
