A Frontier Airlines jet departing from Denver International Airport (DEN) on Friday night underwent an emergency evacuation after striking a person on the runway during its takeoff roll. The collision with the individual, who was reportedly wandering across DEN’s Runway 17L, sparked an engine fire, forcing the jet to abort its takeoff as smoke entered the cabin.
