CPKC and CSX reduce transit times for Southeast Mexico Express

The Czech transport minister has called for stronger EU funding for rail infrastructure and urgent measures to support rail freight competitiveness.

The locomotive will haul diesel and heating oil trains from North Sea ports to tank farms across the country.

The project is designed to assess the operational feasibility of shifting the traffic to combined transport.
