Delta Air Lines plans more long-haul flights in 2026 than in any other year. Between June and December, OAG data shows an average of 127 daily departures (double for both ways). Activity has increased by 5% year-over-year and by 16% compared to before the pandemic in 2019.

In 2011 Interjet was Mexico’s third-largest airline by passengers and was looking for a regional aircraft to support its domestic network. The obvious candidates were from Bombardier and Embraer but the carrier instead signed for 30 Sukhoi Superjet 100s! The financial logic was understandable at the time.
