Publicly-owned train operator LNER has revealed that it is working with clean energy infrastructure experts Treeva to pioneer a system for capturing energy from turbulent airflow adjacent to the railway and turning it into clean, renewable energy.
To increase its green electricity, Transport for London has appointed EDF Renewables UK through its solar energy farm for a 15-year Power Purchase Agreement.
