Sri Lanka Railways Invites Bids for the Development of a New Official Website

In a move toward modernizing its digital infrastructure, the Sri Lanka Railways Department, under the Ministry Of Transport, Highways & Urban Development, has officially called for bids for the design and development of a new official website for the railway service.

They are seeking proposals from qualified domestic manufacturers and suppliers to undertake this project.

How to Apply

Bidding documents can be obtained in English by submitting a written request to the Railway Procurement Sub-department located at Olcott Mawatha, Colombo 10. A non-refundable fee of Rs. 1,000/- is required.

Documents are available for inspection and issuance during working days from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, between April 24, 2024, and May 12, 2024.

Submission Deadline

Bids must be delivered to the Chairman of the Department Procurement Committee no later than 2:00 PM on May 13, 2024. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Rs. 20,000/- issued by a commercial bank approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
