JetBlue has unexpectedly found itself at the heart of a legal battle in the US, following accusations of ‘surveillance pricing’ at the New York-based hybrid carrier. Specifically, a lawsuit filed against the airline has accused it of altering (and, specifically, raising) its fares based on customers’ personal data.
