Lufthansa has put its first reconfiguredAirbus A380 back into service, after a business class refurbishment program that lasted more than two months. The main benefit of this initiative is that the cabin, located on the upper deck of the widebody quadjet aircraft, now features a four-abreast (1-2-1) configuration, with direct aisle access at every seat. Previously, the denser 2-2-2 layout meant that window passengers did not enjoy this perk.
