Forwardis expands wagon fleet services

Six rail freight operators have joined a new cooperation pilot in the Port of Rotterdam aimed at reducing cancellations and delays on the port railway line.

Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) and Americold have introduced a temperature-controlled rail service linking Kansas City with Mexico, targeting cross-border flows of perishable food.

The industry association said the decline follows reductions in previous years and reflects both weaker demand and increasing cost pressures on operators.
