TheBoeing 787-9 is the most numerous aircraft type in Virgin Atlantic’s all-widebody fleet, with present fleet data made available by ch-aviation showing that the UK-based long-haul carrier has 17 examples at its disposal. This puts it ahead of the Airbus A330-300, A330-900, and A350-1000, of which the airline respectively has six, eight, and 12 units in its fleet. However, at 10.2 years on average, the 787s are among Virgin’s oldest jets.
