Passengers often wonder what cabin crew do on long-haul flights, as they really only see the crew during boarding and disembarkation, and during the meal and bar service. Long-haul flights are commonly overnight, and somewhat unnaturally, we work throughout the night while the passengers are sleeping. Cabin crew need to stay alert in case of any emergency situation that might crop up, that they need to deal with quickly and effectively.
