A new China–Europe freight service from Wuhan to Baku has been launched via the Middle Corridor, strengthening Eurasian rail and multimodal logistics.

The working visit was intended to improve coordination with regional and Chinese partners on international freight movements, as ASEAN–China rail freight volumes depend on multiple national networks and interfaces rather than a single operator.

Rail now accounts for around 45% of the transport work required to supply SCA’s industrial operations with raw materials.
