United Airlines is extending the logic of its basic economy offering into the front of the aircraft, a bold and industry-leading move. This is a new fare structure for Polaris business class and Premium Plus premium economy, as passengers will now be able to choose between Base, Standard, and Flexible tickets. The cheapest of these options will strip out some other perks that were once bundled directly into premium fares, according to reports from The New York Times.
