The Airbus A350 has slowly become one of the defining aircraft of modern ultra-long-haul travel. The plane is built around efficient Rolls-Royce engines, extensive composite construction, and a cabin primarily designed for long sectors. The jet has thus allowed airlines to connect city pairs that once would have required a stop or were uneconomical to operate. The result is thus a network of impressively long missions stretching deep across the Pacific, the Indian Ocean, and between North America, Asia, and Southern Africa.
