RAS takes delivery of first three Wabtec C23EMP locomotives

The locomotives arrived via the Port of Montevideo and have been transferred to the Peñarol railway workshops for commissioning, with entry into service planned for 2026.

The LNWR George the Fifth Steam Locomotive Trust has announced that on Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 February, it finished assembling the permanent frame for its replica locomotive.
