Why This European Airline Just Walked Away From The Airbus A321XLR

Greek legacy carrier Aegean Airlines has abruptly walked away from plans to add a pair of Airbus A321XLRs to its fleet, shelving what would have been the airline’s fastest route to any kind of long-haul expansion. The jets in question were intended to arrive in the last quarter of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026, entering service on nonstop routes to New Delhi (DEL) and Mumbai (BOM).
