Italian transport ministry launches consultation on Intercity services tender

Région Grand Est has introduced new rolling stock on two cross-border corridors to Luxembourg and Germany.

The return forms part of the operator’s December 2025 timetable, which adds 10,000 services annually.

Deutsche Bahn and Brussels Airlines will launch a new direct ICE connection from Cologne to Brussels Airport, introducing a codeshare rail–air offer from September 2026.
