Turkish Airlines is edging ever closer to realizing its ambition of operating scheduled passenger-carrying flights to Australia, having quietly achieved a major milestone in this process. Specifically, tickets on the second leg of its planned route from Istanbul Airport (IST) to Melbourne (MEL) via Singapore (SIN) are now bookable, following the official launch of the exciting new route earlier today.
