Last night, a Cessna 172 general aviation aircraft made an unplanned landing on the Hudson River nearNew York Stewart International Airport (SWF). The 48-year-old single-engine propeller plane was reportedly written off as a result of the incident, but, thankfully, both of its occupants survived the ditching.
