Only 49% Full: United Airlines’ 10 Emptiest International Routes

From November 2024 to October 2025, the US Department of Transportation indicates that the Star Alliance member had 320 international routes. Over 38 million passengers were carried, with an average seat load factor of 81.2%. As with any airline, several routes did particularly poorly, although explanations exist for some of them.
