An offer which would have ensured that 30,000 United Airlines flight attendants were among the highest paid has continued to be rejected by the Association of Flight Attendants (AFA-CWA). The caveat that keeps stopping any progress is that the union wants all flight attendants to be paid for the hours they are at work, not just once the aircraft doors are closed.
