RheinCargo takes over lime rail flows for thyssenkrupp Steel

CargoBeamer has launched a new intermodal service between Stuttgart and Milan, strengthening rail freight capacity across the Alps.

The meeting followed talks between DB CEO Evelyn Palla, the three state governments, DB InfraGO and DB Cargo.

The figures represent year-on-year increases of 32% in train movements and 25% in volume.
