Orange Jordan expands fibre broadband reach to Tafila and Aqaba

Nokia announced on Monday that Thai wholesale network provider International Gateway Company (IGC) has deployed its next-gen optical transport solution to modernize its existing DWDM network in Thailand.

Infrastructure-focused equity company Actis reportedly is the interested party looking to acquire Telkom South Africa’s tower unit Swiftnet for over US$330 million. 

Indonesian operator Super Sistem, which is developing the Indonesian Barat Timur Indonesia (BTI) submarine cable system, has engaged consulting firm APTelecom to engage prospective customers on its behalf to undertake presales for the system.
