On January 12, Taiwan’s EVA Air confirmed that it would begin flying to Washington Dulles, beginning in July. It will be the first time the very long market from Taipei has ever had nonstop flights, with the Star Alliance connection no doubt important. This development came soon after South Korea’s Air Premia added Dulles to its map.
