In 1928, the massive airship Graf Zeppelin made history by flying across the Atlantic Ocean from Germany to the United States. This was the beginning of commercial transatlantic flights. But this was also an age of stowaways and accompanying media sensation. On its return flight, back to Germany, it was discovered the Graf Zeppelin was carrying the very first aerial stowaway.
