Paratus Botswana said on Friday it has updated its uncapped fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) packages and pricing in response to growing market demand for faster speeds at lower prices with shorter or no contractual commitments.
Airtel Tanzania managing director Dinesh Balsingh revealed the operator had expanded its coverage with newly constructed towers, as part of an initiative to boost connectivity in rural locations, The Citizen reported.
Mauritius Telecom is in talks with operators including Reliance Jio and Orange to build a new subsea cable connecting Africa, Indian Ocean islands and Asia, a move to avoid network downtime experienced last month.
