Southwest Airlines Replaces Boeing 737-800 With A MAX 8 After Maintenance-Related Diversion

A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-800 flying from San Diego to Indianapolis was forced to divert to Las Vegas on Thursday after a reoccurring maintenance indication. Flight WN651, carrying 141 passengers and crew, notified air traffic control (ATC) of the persistent issue before requesting a diversion as a precaution.
