IHS Brazil expands 4G/5G DAS network in Afonso Pena Airport

Global digital operator Veon announced on Friday it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Airspan Networks to collaborate on Open RAN and air-to-land network solutions for Veon’s Ukrainian operator Kyivstar.

Nokia announced on Thursday that it has signed a deal with Ooredoo Qatar to modernize its core network to support standalone 5G, which in turn will boost the telco’s ability to deliver more advanced services.

Ericsson and du, from Emirates Integrated Telecommunication Company (EITC), announced on Monday that they have leveraged carrier aggregation to achieve a download speed of up to 16.7 Gbps on du’s 5G standalone (SA) network.
