UAE announces 6G initiative

Vietnam’s telecoms regulator has reportedly ordered the country’s telcos to block messaging app Telegram over its alleged failure to prevent its users from using the app to commit crimes under Vietnamese law.

There’s been a new development in the ongoing issue of how much local input must be included in smartphones sold to Indonesians. The Indonesian government is now reportedly planning to increase the local component requirement for such phones.

Claro Chile, a subsidiary of giant mobile network operator América Móvil, has won the second 5G tender in Chile, making it the fourth operator permitted to offer 5G services in the country.
