Dhiraagu inaugurates Tier III data centre in the Maldives atolls

Digital infrastructure company Equinix officially opened its first two International Business Exchange (IBX) data centres in Malaysia on Monday – one in Johor and the other in Kuala Lumpur.

PLDT Group’s data centre arm Vitro, a subsidiary of ePLDT, and Hong Kong-based HGC Global Communications said on Monday they have formed a strategic partnership to improve data centre connectivity in the Philippines.

Brazilian investment firm Patria Investimentos has announced the launch of Omnia, a hyperscale data centre platform that will invest about US$1 billion in its first project in the next 18 to 24 months.
