Houston Passengers Face 3-Hour Security Wait Times For 2nd Consecutive Day Due To TSA Officer Shortage

Those traveling through one of Texas’s biggest airports, Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport, face long lines for airport security. Due to the federal government shutdown, this has impacted Transportation Security Administration (TSA) staffing across the country. This has led to lines up to three hours long snaking their way to outside of the terminal.
