American Airlines has revealed thatEdinburgh Airport (EDI) in Scotland will be its first international destination for its new fleet of Airbus A321XLR long-range narrowbody twinjets. The Fort Worth-based oneworld founding member plans to fly the type there on a seasonal basis from March of 2026, with John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York being the origin.
