Expect Delays: San Francisco’s Primary Runway Closes For 5 Months

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) closed Runway 28L, one of its primary runways, on Tuesday due to a taxiway improvement project. The closure, which is expected through June, could cause “possible” delays to inbound flights by as much as an hour.
