Trump and RFK Jr. Push Unproven Tylenol-Autism Link in Cabinet Meeting

On October 9, 2025, during a White House cabinet meeting, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. claimed that Tylenol use after infant circumcision doubles autism risk, citing two studies, while President Donald Trump endorsed the theory as artificially induced.

Medical experts from the American Academy of Pediatrics and CDC refuted the assertions, stating autism results from genetic and environmental factors with no causal link to acetaminophen or circumcision.

Lawmakers like Rep. Jerry Nadler criticised the remarks as unscientific and potentially antisemitic, amid concerns over impacts on public health policies.
