New York's airports have undergone extensive renovations over the past few years. John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) invested $13 billion for its transformation, LaGuardia Airport (LGA) has invested $8 billion for its makeover, and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) has also injected $2.7 billion into its new Terminal A, replacing one that opened during the presidency of Richard Nixon.
