The Hawaiian Islands are an incredibly unique place, and the commercial aviation scene on the islands has both a rich history and some bizarre oddities that can be fascinating to explore. Despite not being the largest island by size nor containing any of the state's most impressive natural wonders, the island of Oahu is home to not just the state's capital and largest city, Honolulu, but also roughly two-thirds of the entire island chain's population, according to World Population Review.
