Half A Million Tonnes Of Sewage-Based SAF: Inside Wizz Air’s Ambitious Sustainability Partnership With Firefly

Last week, Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air announced a series of ambitious sustainability targets that it wants to achieve in the coming years. Among these is the desire to reduce carbon dioxide emissions per passenger kilometer by a factor of 25% by 2030 and have 10% of its flights powered by sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) by the same deadline. These will be achieved in various ways.
