US Government Withdraws Airline Delay Compensation Proposal

The US Government is planning to abandon a proposal that would have seen airlines in the country made liable to compensate passengers in the event of long delays. The idea was originally conceived by the Biden administration at the end of the former President’s term, but his successor,Donald Trump, won’t carry it forward.
