American Airlines’ mainline fleet consists of 994 aircraft. Some 131 of these (a mere 13%) are widebodies—the Boeing 777 and 787. Its ex-US Airways Airbus A330-200s and A330-300s were retired in 2020, along with the last of its 767-300ERs. Its final 767-200ER frames exited its fleet a decade ago.
