The 2019 Paris Air Show introduced many visitors to the growing list of entrepreneurial businesses that wanted to develop commercial air taxis, flying cars, and electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOL). Although that was five years ago, there was much talk during the show about having the aircraft ready for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, effortlessly and sustainably flying passengers from the banks of the Seine to the Olympic stadium.
