Boeing: Airlines Will Need 2.4 Million New Pilots, Techs, and Crew by 2044

US planemaker Boeing has forecasted the need for almost 2.4 million new commercial pilots, cabin crew and technicians over the next 20 years as demand for commercial air travel continues to grow. Around two-thirds of this 2.4 million figure will be to replace outgoing workers, with the remaining one-third covering the industry’s expected growth.
