India’s smartphone market rebounds in Q2

The Indian smartphone market was flat with a growth rate of only 1% in the second quarter of 2024 due to subdued seasonal demand.

The Latin American smartphone market recorded a fourth consecutive quarter of growth after being fuelled by affordable devices.

Canalys has predicted that Egypt’s smartphone market could stabilise following the enforcement of new regulations aimed at curbing its long-standing grey market, which led to a sharp drop in shipments at the start of the year.
