LATAM smartphone market rises on budget devices

Analyst firm Canalys reported that global smartphone shipments grew 5% year-on-year in Q3 2024, marking the fourth consecutive quarter of growth. 

India’s smartphone market rebounded in Q2 2025, with shipments rising 7% year-on-year to reach 39 million units, following a sluggish first quarter.

The Indonesian smartphone market grew 20% year-on-year in Q2 boosted by the vendor promotion during the holiday season.
