Denver International Airport will have a new longest route as of June, with Turkish Airlines having announced nonstop flights from Istanbul yesterday. There was already speculation, and concrete indications that Turkish would announce flights to Denver yesterday, and it happened. As of June 11, Turkish will fly to DEN three times weekly with its Airbus A350s. The inaugural flight will be on a Boeing 777, but the next flight, on June 13, will be on the Airbus widebody.
