Reports have emerged concerning an Emirates flight to New York last month whose landing in the Big Apple was more eventful than might otherwise have been expected to be the case. Operated by anAirbus A380, the double-decker quadjet with which the UAE flag carrier has become almost synonymous over the years, the flight was forced to declare an emergency following an engine shutdown.
