The Boeing 747 is one of the largest commercial aircraft ever built, eclipsed only by the Airbus A380. The Queen of the Skies entered service in 1970 and has undergone several evolutions since the original 747-100 model, the latest and final variant being the 747-8. Equipped with four engines, the 747 is also one of the most powerful aircraft ever to fly commercially.
